Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized one-to-one beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance categories.
- Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients and regimen recommendations to build client confidence and loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory management and ensure the selling environment is clean, organized and inviting.
- Remain current on market and category trends to inform recommendations and promote newness that drives repeat business.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture by collaborating with colleagues, supporting store initiatives and adhering to company policies for safety and service.
Qualifications
- Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a client-service environment; entry-level candidates with relevant enthusiasm for beauty will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative selling mindset.
- Passion for beauty products, trends and client education.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level position; prior retail, hospitality or other client-facing experience preferred but not required for motivated candidates with a demonstrated passion for beauty.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics, or beauty-related certification is a plus.
