Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations across skincare, color cosmetics, fragrance and beauty tools to meet individual client needs.
  • Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients and regimen recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, product launches and in-store services to provide relevant, timely advice.
  • Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding individual sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Support visual merchandising, inventory replenishment and cash-wrap operations to ensure a curated, well-stocked environment.
  • Contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere by upholding Sephora’s service standards, company policies and inclusivity principles.
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience delivering exceptional client service in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment preferred.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and product-driven client advising.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine merchandising tasks.

Experience

Entry-level role; previous retail or client-facing experience is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and build client relationships will be valued.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; cosmetology, esthetics, or beauty certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 26 per hour.
