Sephora Canada in Calgary is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor. Hourly role (CAD$17–20/hr) delivering personalized consultations and product expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored, consultative beauty experiences by assessing client needs and recommending products and routines.
- Demonstrate product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance, educating clients on application techniques and ingredients.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs through effective merchandising, promotions and upselling.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, welcoming client environment.
- Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches and brand partnerships to provide relevant, timely advice.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture, assisting colleagues and supporting store operations during peak periods (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships in retail, hospitality or a client-facing role.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and maintain stamina during retail shifts.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and meet sales objectives is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or certification in cosmetology, aesthetics or a related field is an asset.

The successful candidate will be located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
