Sephora in Palo Alto (Stanford Shopping Center) seeks a full-time Beauty Advisor. Hourly $22.60–$26.00—client-facing role focused on consultations and retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized in-store beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate clients on application techniques and routines.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory management, and ensure a clean, organized and welcoming sales floor.
- Stay current with beauty trends, new product launches and brand assortments to deliver relevant advice.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment and uphold Sephora’s operational policies and client safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a customer-focused environment preferred.
- Genuine passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Team-oriented mindset with a results-driven approach and attention to detail.
- Availability for retail peak hours, including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
