Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored, one-to-one beauty consultations and product recommendations that meet each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise through in-store demonstrations and education to empower clients in their beauty routines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, launches and techniques to provide relevant advice and encourage repeat visits.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive clientelling and upselling.
- Support store merchandising, inventory tasks and visual standards to ensure a clean, organized and commercially attractive environment.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and adhere to company policies to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping experience.
- Be available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance.
Qualifications
- Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a similar service environment; ability to build and sustain client relationships.
- Genuine passion for beauty, trends and product knowledge with an eagerness to learn and share best practices.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; confident public-facing presence.
- Reliable availability to meet part-time scheduling requirements (15–29 hours/week) including peak shifts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented team and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required for inventory and merchandising tasks.

Experience
Entry-level role. Prior customer-facing retail or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory; Sephora provides on-the-job training and development.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary training in cosmetology, esthetics or related fields is an asset.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
