Sephora Canada — Beauty Advisor (Part-time) in Ottawa, ON. Hourly CAD$18.20–21.40/hr; client-facing retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Remain current on beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Drive sales performance and contribute to achieving store KPIs and individual targets.
- Support merchandising, inventory tasks and maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing sales floor.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora Canada policies and standards.
- Be punctual and reliable; meet the minimum weekly shift requirements and work during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or a client-facing environment preferred; demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships.
- Passion for beauty products, trends and consumer education.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and goal-driven.
- Quick learner able to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Availability for flexible scheduling and commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry-level. Previous retail or client-facing experience is preferred but not mandatory; candidates should demonstrate strong customer service aptitude.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or other beauty-related certificate considered an asset.
