Sephora in Ocean, NJ is hiring a Part-time Beauty Advisor — personalized consultations and sales; pay $19.80–$26.00/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized consultations and tailored product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Stay abreast of beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide current, relevant advice.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling.
  • Support store merchandising, maintain inventory accuracy and ensure visual standards and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming environment that reflects Sephora’s brand standards.
  • Promote an inclusive, team-oriented atmosphere and uphold company policies to ensure a safe customer experience.
  • Adhere to a flexible schedule and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

Qualifications

  • Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or another client-focused environment preferred.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Proven ability to learn product information quickly and share knowledge with clients and teammates.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work the required part-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience
