Sephora Canada in North Bay seeks a Flex Beauty Advisor. Part-time hourly role delivering personalised beauty consultations at Northgate Shopping Centre.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised in-store consultations and product recommendations that meet individual client needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, assist with inventory management, stock replenishment and visual presentation.
  • Keep abreast of beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
  • Create a welcoming, clean and safe shopping environment that reflects Sephora standards.
  • Contribute to a culture of inclusivity and teamwork; support colleagues during peak periods and events.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holiday shifts and ensure punctual, reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience delivering excellent client service in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and inclusive client empowerment.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Team-oriented with a goal-driven approach and comfort working against sales targets.
  • Ability to learn product information rapidly and share knowledge confidently with clients.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience

Entry-level; previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent service and build client relationships is valued.

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in beauty, cosmetology or a related field is an asset.

The successful candidate will be located in North Bay, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
