Sephora Canada seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor in North Bay, ON. Hourly role CAD$18.20–21.40; client-facing retail position focused on beauty consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations to meet individual client needs and build lasting relationships.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and perform product demonstrations to educate and empower clients.
- Remain current on beauty trends, new launches and application techniques to provide up-to-date advice.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and other KPIs through proactive selling and clienteling.
- Support merchandise presentation, inventory management and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture and adhere to company policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment preferred but not mandatory.
- Passion for beauty, cosmetics and current trends with the ability to translate that knowledge into advice.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level position; previous retail or client-facing experience is preferred but candidates with strong customer service aptitude and a passion for beauty will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional cosmetology or beauty-related training is an asset.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in North Bay, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
