Sephora Ningbo is hiring a full-time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalised makeup, skincare and fragrance consultations in-store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide tailored makeup, skincare and fragrance consultations to customers, delivering a personalised and professional shopping experience in line with Sephora service standards.
- Drive sales performance by understanding client needs, recommending suitable products, and working to achieve store targets and KPI metrics.
- Operate the point-of-sale: process transactions accurately, apply promotional and CRM rules, and follow cash-handling SOPs to ensure store security.
- Maintain visual merchandising and display standards within the assigned area, replenish stock, and ensure trial/testers and fixtures meet Sephora visual guidelines.
- Execute inventory tasks including receiving, returns and cycle counts; apply FIFO and near-expiry management to minimise shrinkage.
- Complete required brand and corporate training, share product knowledge with teammates and contribute to in-store learning initiatives.
- Adhere to hygiene, safety and company policies; perform additional duties assigned by store management as required.
Qualifications
- Genuine enthusiasm for cosmetics, skincare and the beauty industry.
- Proactive learner with a continuous development mindset and willingness to complete required training and assessments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
- Professional presentation and the ability to comply with brand grooming and uniform standards.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; 0–2 years of retail or customer-facing experience preferred. Prior experience with cosmetics brands or luxury retail is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in cosmetology/beauty is a plus.
