Sephora seeks a Beauty Advisor for flexible part-time positions at its Christiana Mall location in Newark, Delaware. In this customer-facing role, the candidate will deliver personalized beauty consultations, educate clients on product expertise, drive sales performance, and maintain merchandising standards while fostering an inclusive shopping environment. The position requires availability during peak retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to individual client needs
- Demonstrate comprehensive product expertise and educate clients on beauty trends, techniques, and application methods
- Monitor and communicate current beauty trends, new product launches, and relevant industry developments
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals and key performance indicators
- Support inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized retail environment
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere and collaborate effectively with team members
- Uphold Sephora brand standards and company policies to ensure a secure and enjoyable shopping experience
- Meet flexible scheduling requirements with availability during nights, weekends, and holiday peak periods
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality, or client-focused customer service experience

- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities
- Demonstrated capability to build strong, lasting client relationships
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexibility and reliability for variable scheduling including weekends and holidays

Experience
Beginner-level retail or customer service experience with a demonstrated track record of providing excellent service and building client relationships in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
