Sephora seeks a Part-time Beauty Advisor in New York City to provide personalised consultations and drive sales at its 5th Avenue store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations across makeup, skincare and fragrance to meet each client's needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise and provide in-store demonstrations to educate and empower clients.
- Remain current on beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to offer relevant advice.
- Achieve and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up.
- Support merchandising, inventory management and visual standards to maintain an organised, inviting retail environment.
- Uphold company policies and safety standards while contributing to an inclusive, team-oriented store culture.
- Maintain reliable availability for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends and holiday trading periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment preferred.
- Genuine passion for beauty and consumer trends, with the ability to translate product knowledge into clear recommendations.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable building rapport with diverse clientele.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods.

Entry-level. Prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not mandatory; demonstrated ability to deliver excellent service is valued.
