Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized, one-to-one beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations that meet each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients and regimen recommendations.
  • Stay current on industry trends, new product launches and beauty techniques to deliver contemporary, relevant advice.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling and clienteling.
  • Support store operations including merchandising, inventory management, product replenishment and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora’s customer service and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a related customer service environment.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and empowering clients through product knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and to meet required minimum weekly shifts.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience

Entry-level: Previous retail or other client-facing experience preferred; professional onboarding and in-store training provided.
