Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to build client confidence and loyalty.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare, fragrance and tools; educate clients on usage and benefits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Drive sales performance and meet or exceed KPIs through consultative selling, add-on recommendations and clienteling.
- Ensure attractive presentation of the selling floor: support merchandising, inventory replenishment, housekeeping and visual standards.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative store culture and uphold Sephora’s operational policies to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping experience.
- Adhere to flexible scheduling requirements, including availability for nights, weekends and holidays, and meet minimum weekly shift expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience demonstrating excellent service and relationship-building.
- Strong passion for beauty, product curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Reliable, punctual and able to meet scheduled shift requirements (part-time: 15–29 hrs/week).
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, goal-oriented retail environment.

Entry-level role; previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment is preferred but candidates with strong customer service aptitude are considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
