Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients and routines.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of beauty trends, new launches and category developments to provide relevant advice.
  • Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding store KPIs, conversion targets and average transaction metrics.
  • Support merchandising and inventory activities to ensure a clean, organized and on-brand sales floor.
  • Uphold Sephora operational standards, policies and a safe, inclusive shopping environment.
  • Be available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet required minimum weekly hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality or a client-facing environment with demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Strong passion for beauty, current trends and product innovation.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport quickly with diverse clients.
  • Collaborative team player with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to learn and share product knowledge rapidly.
  • Reliable punctuality and availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience

Entry-level role; previous retail, hospitality or other client-facing experience is preferred but not required.
