Sephora seeks a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor in New Hyde Park, NY. Hourly $21.75–$24.88 — provide consultations, drive sales and maintain merchandising.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized one‑to‑one consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate and empower clients on usage and trends.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling and clienteling.
  • Maintain store presentation: merchandising, inventory support, stock replenishment and visual standards.
  • Ensure a clean, safe and welcoming shopping environment while adhering to company policies and loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays; meet minimum weekly shift/hours requirements.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative team culture that supports Sephora’s Inclusion & Belonging principles.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client‑centric attitude.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and product education; quick learner who shares knowledge confidently.
  • Previous customer‑facing experience in retail, hospitality or beauty preferred.
  • Reliable availability during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and ability to meet required weekly shifts.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform typical retail duties.
