Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge through hands-on demonstrations and tailored advice to educate and empower clients.
- Remain current on beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to maintain relevance during client interactions.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets, contributing to key performance indicators and conversion metrics.
- Support inventory management and merchandising; maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing sales floor.
- Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting Sephora’s cultural standards.
- Comply with company policies to ensure a safe, secure and enjoyable shopping experience for clients and employees.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships in retail, hospitality or client-facing roles.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable advising diverse clientele.
- Team-oriented with a goal-driven mindset and the ability to learn and share product knowledge quickly.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability for peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays; must meet required weekly shift minimums for part-time roles.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; prior customer-facing retail, hospitality or beauty experience is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and build client relationships is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or beauty-related certification is a plus.
