Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, consultative customer experience to drive conversion and loyalty across beauty, skincare, haircare and wellness categories.
- Demonstrate product features and application techniques, recommending tailored solutions and promoting Sephora's loyalty/CRM programmes.
- Execute in-store merchandising, stock replenishment and visual standards to maintain an inspiring retail environment.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and proactive client engagement.
- Participate in onboarding, ongoing training and e-learning modules; apply new techniques learned from field trainers and in-store sessions.
- Support store operations including point-of-sale transactions, client records and basic housekeeping to ensure readiness for peak trading periods.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience, preferably in beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused, consultative sales approach.
- Availability to work key trading times, typically including Thursday–Sunday, late nights and weekends.
- Keen interest in beauty trends and the ability to learn and articulate product knowledge across multiple categories.
- Willingness to engage in cross-training and continuous professional development.

Experience
Entry-level role with preference for candidates who have prior experience in retail or other customer-facing sales environments. Sephora welcomes applicants at the beginning of their beauty retail careers who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational credentials or short courses in beauty, cosmetics or retail are advantageous.
