Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each customer's unique needs and preferences
- Educate customers on beauty trends, new techniques, and product innovations to support their purchasing decisions
- Maintain current knowledge of seasonal collections, brand offerings, and emerging beauty trends to provide relevant and compelling advice
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through product expertise and consultative selling
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and stock rotation to maintain an organized, welcoming retail environment
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual presentation standards
- Provide exceptional customer service across in-store, digital, and omnichannel interactions
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in retail customer service within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics, and current beauty trends
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative, goal-oriented team environment
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs)
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays during peak retail periods
Skills
Experience
Entry-level or beginner-level retail experience in customer-facing roles is preferred; passion for beauty and willingness to develop expertise can compensate for limited formal background.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent (high school diploma or Quebec Diplôme d'études secondaires); post-secondary beauty or retail credentials are advantageous but not required.
