Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge across makeup, skincare, fragrance and beauty tools to educate and empower clients.
- Maintain store presentation: support merchandising, inventory management, stock replenishment and a clean, inviting sales floor.
- Stay current on beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant, timely advice.
- Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding individual KPIs and contributing to store targets.
- Provide reliable coverage during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet minimum shift/hours requirements.
- Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment and uphold Sephora’s service and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and build client relationships in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment.
- Passion for beauty, trends and product discovery with a desire to educate clients.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team orientation.
- Ability to learn quickly and translate product knowledge into client recommendations.
- Physically able to lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail or customer-facing experience preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop client relationships is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Cosmetology, esthetics or beauty certifications are a plus but not required.
