Sephora Merrick, NY is hiring a Part-Time Beauty Advisor — deliver consultations, drive sales; $21.75–$28.00/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized beauty consultations and bespoke product recommendations that address each client's needs and preferences.
  • Educate and empower clients by demonstrating product features, application techniques and regimen advice.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, product launches and category innovations to drive relevant client interactions.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling and follow-up.
  • Support merchandising, inventory management and visual standards to ensure a clean, organized and inviting store environment.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity and teamwork, adhering to Sephora’s standards, policies and customer-safety practices.
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; meet required minimum weekly shifts/hours and maintain punctual attendance.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience with a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and build relationships.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and product-driven client education.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to consult confidently across diverse clientele.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented retail environment.
  • Quick learner with the capacity to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform typical retail duties.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays and meet minimum weekly scheduling requirements.

Experience
