Sephora — Beauty Advisor (part-time) in Melbourne. Join the Melbourne Central team to advise customers across cosmetics, skincare and wellness. $35.10/hr + super.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, consultative customer service that inspires product discovery across cosmetics, skincare, haircare and wellness categories.
- Demonstrate product use and benefits, conduct in-store sampling and personalised recommendations to drive conversion and basket value.
- Enrol customers in and promote the CRM loyalty program, leveraging customer data to build repeat business.
- Support day-to-day store operations including merchandising, stock replenishment, maintaining presentation standards and POS transactions.
- Participate in onboarding, ongoing training and cross-training sessions to expand product knowledge and technical skills.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets, manage peak trading periods and provide cover during late-night and weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in retail or a customer-facing environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build rapport quickly.
- Availability to work key trading times including late nights and weekends (typically Thursday–Sunday).
- Enthusiasm for beauty trends, product application techniques and continual learning.
- Right to work in Australia (must be eligible to work without sponsorship).

Entry-level role; prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is desirable but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in beauty and customer service.
Education
Secondary education completed or equivalent preferred.
