Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, consultative customer service to inspire and advise clients across makeup, skincare, haircare and wellness categories.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and conduct in-store demonstrations to drive education, trial and conversion.
• Promote and enrol customers in the brand CRM program, leveraging clienteling to build repeat business and lifetime value.
• Execute merchandising, stock replenishment and visual standards to maintain a compelling store environment.
• Operate point-of-sale transactions accurately and assist with daily store operations, including loss-prevention and housekeeping tasks.
• Participate in onboarding, in-store training and ongoing cross-training to maintain up-to-date category expertise.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience preferred; entry-level candidates with strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
• Availability to work retail peak trading times, including late nights and weekends (ideal applicants can commit to three full days across Thursday–Sunday).
• Demonstrable passion for beauty trends, product knowledge and the ability to articulate product benefits to diverse clientele.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a store team and adapt to a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Skills

Experience

Entry-level role; previous retail or customer-facing sales experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate retail aptitude and a willingness to learn through in-store and online training.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or industry-specific beauty certifications advantageous but not required.

The base compensation for this position is AUD 28.08 per hour.
