Sephora in McAllen, TX is hiring a Part-Time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized consultations and drive sales (16.60–19.30 USD/hr).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet each client’s needs and build long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge across makeup, skincare, fragrance and tools — educate and empower clients on application and routines.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organized and inviting salesfloor.
  • Stay current on category trends, launches and techniques to provide relevant advice and drive repeat visits.
  • Uphold company policies and visual standards to create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and maintain punctual, consistent attendance.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience with a demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Genuine passion for beauty, product curiosity and an interest in current trends and techniques.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with consultative selling.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented, inclusive environment.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to meet minimum weekly shifts/hours and to work peak retail periods (nights, weekends, holidays).

Experience

Entry-level role; prior retail or client-facing experience preferred but not mandatory for candidates who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and product enthusiasm.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
