Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet each client’s needs and enhance their beauty routine.
• Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, ingredient benefits and regimen building.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, new product launches and category innovations to provide relevant advice.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive client engagement and follow-up.
• Support inventory operations, merchandising standards and ensure the store remains clean, organized and visually appealing.
• Promote an inclusive and collaborative team environment that reflects Sephora’s values of diversity and belonging.
• Adhere to company policies, loss-prevention procedures and deliver a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; meet the minimum required weekly shifts/hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience providing excellent service and building client relationships in retail, hospitality or another client-focused environment.
• Passion for beauty, makeup, skincare and current trends.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable advising a diverse clientele.
• Collaborative team player with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Quick learner able to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Skills

Experience

Entry-level role; prior client-facing retail or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service and build rapport is valued.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology/beauty retail certification or relevant coursework is a plus.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.60 to USD 19.30 per hour.
