Sephora seeks a Beauty Advisor in Mataró (Barcelona), Spain — part-time, temporary role advising clients and selling cosmetics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised product advice and demonstrations across makeup, skincare and fragrance to drive client satisfaction and sales.
- Engage customers proactively, build rapport and cultivate repeat business through exceptional service and clienteling.
- Achieve and contribute to store sales targets and KPIs during shifts and promotional periods.
- Maintain merchandising standards, ensure product availability and support visual presentation according to Sephora guidelines.
- Participate in onboarding, in-store training and brand/product activations to expand product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions, returns and basic stock replenishment following company processes.
- Support store operations during peak times, including sampling, tester maintenance and promotional set-ups.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of professional experience in the beauty or cosmetics sector.
- Clear customer-service vocation with proven experience in face-to-face retail interaction.
- Fluent English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
- Residency within the province of the vacant position and legal authorization to work in Spain.
- Passion for beauty trends, product knowledge and an eagerness to learn and grow in retail.

Entry-level role requiring at least one year of experience in the beauty or cosmetics retail sector, with direct customer-service and sales exposure.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training or certification in cosmetics/cosmetology is an advantage but not mandatory.
