Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Stay current with beauty trends, launches and techniques to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
- Achieve and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators through proactive client engagement and conversion.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory management and ensure a clean, organized sales floor.
- Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment and uphold Sephora’s customer service and safety standards.
- Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet required minimum weekly hours for the role.
Qualifications
- Previous experience providing excellent service and building client relationships in retail, hospitality or other client-facing roles preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for beauty, current trends and product knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; strong customer-service orientation.
- Collaborative team player comfortable working in a goal-driven environment and adapting quickly to new product information.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail, hospitality or other client-facing experience is preferred but not required. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to develop strong client relationships and meet sales objectives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
