Sephora UK is hiring a part‑time Beauty Advisor in Trafford, Manchester — deliver expert makeup, skincare and fragrance advice and support store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised consultations across makeup, skincare and fragrance to build customer confidence and drive conversion.
  • Educate customers on application techniques, routines and product benefits using up‑to‑date technical knowledge.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and maintain a tidy, secure cash area.
  • Receive, check and organise deliveries; support stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Replenish shelves and maintain visually compelling product displays; remove expired or damaged items.
  • Support visual merchandising updates and promotional activations to maximise sell‑through.
  • Proactively engage customers to upsell products and Sephora services, and promote the loyalty programme.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on training, share best practices and contribute to store targets and team performance.
  • Assist with new store opening tasks such as unboxing, organising and preparing stock when required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail, customer service or store operations with exposure to cash and stock handling.
  • Strong technical interest and knowledge in makeup, skincare and fragrance; practical application experience advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift boxes and stand for extended periods; flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Experience
