Sephora is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor in Lynnwood, WA — hourly $19.80–$22.90; client-facing role focused on consultations and sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs through proactive client engagement and effective cross-selling.
- Support merchandising, inventory handling and loss-prevention practices to preserve a clean, organized selling environment.
- Uphold company policies and create a safe, welcoming shopping experience for all clients.
- Work collaboratively within the store team to foster an inclusive culture and ensure consistent service standards.
- Be available for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays and meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment preferred.
- Genuine passion for beauty, trends and delivering confidence-building experiences.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to meet scheduling requirements (nights/weekends/holidays).
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform retail-floor tasks for sustained periods.
- Quick learner who can absorb and share product knowledge with clients and colleagues.

Entry-level role; previous retail or client-facing experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer service aptitude and an eagerness to learn beauty products and techniques.
Education
