The Beauty Advisor welcomes clients, offers tailored beauty consultations and product recommendations, shares product expertise, and supports sales goals, inventory, merchandising, and an inclusive, well-maintained store environment. This is a part-time flex position with non-guaranteed hours, typically 4–14 hours per week, with scheduling during peak retail periods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to their needs.
- Share product knowledge to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey.
- Stay current with beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
- Work toward exceeding sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment.
- Promote an inclusive culture in which everyone feels empowered.
- Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours, and be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
- Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented and inclusive environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
