Sephora in Lexington, KY is hiring a Part-Time Beauty Advisor to provide personalized consultations, drive sales and maintain merchandising standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise through education, product demonstrations and trend-led advice to empower clients.
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding individual sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory tasks and ensure a clean, organized and welcoming sales floor.
- Work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays to cover peak retail hours and meet staffing requirements.
- Uphold Sephora’s operational and safety policies to create a secure, inclusive shopping environment.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience with demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Strong passion for beauty, current trends and product knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
- Quick learner able to absorb and share product information effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and maintain stamina for retail shifts.
- Availability to meet the store’s minimum weekly shift/hours and work peak times.

Experience
Entry-level role; prior experience in retail, hospitality, or other client-focused environments is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or beauty-related certification is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.60 to USD 19.30 per hour.
