Sephora Lausanne seeks a Beauty Advisor (50% temporary, Jun–Aug 2026) for the on-site corner in Lausanne, Switzerland — client-facing beauty retail role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert, personalised advice and product demonstrations to customers across Makeup, Skin Care, Hair Care and Perfume categories.
  • Communicate product benefits, trends and new launches to clients to drive discovery and sales.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product presentation aligns with brand specifications.
  • Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked: prepare product for sale, perform replenishment and manage inventory between sales floor and stockroom.
  • Perform basic stock handling and warehousing tasks to keep back-of-house and sales areas organised and sale-ready.
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service, build client rapport and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

  • First sales experience, preferably in cosmetics, beauty retail or fashion; entry-level candidates with a strong retail orientation will be considered.
  • Fluent French; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge of current beauty trends and product categories (makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance).
  • Availability for the fixed-term assignment (50% FTE) from 1 June to end of August 2026 and to work on-site at the Lausanne corner.

Experience

Entry-level; a prior sales or retail position is preferred, ideally within cosmetics or fashion. Candidates should be available for a fixed-term part-time assignment (50%) from June to August 2026.

Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent; a vocational qualification in retail, beauty or cosmetics is advantageous but not mandatory.
