Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized one-to-one beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to build client confidence and loyalty.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and techniques to educate clients on usage, benefits and trends.
- Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding individual and store KPIs and conversion goals.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
- Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches and category innovations to provide relevant advice.
- Support an inclusive team culture and adhere to company policies to create a safe and enjoyable shopping environment.
- Be reliably available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends and holiday periods, and meet the minimum weekly hours for the role.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in retail, hospitality or client-facing roles; retail experience preferred but entry-level candidates considered.
- Passion for beauty, cosmetics and skincare, with a demonstrable interest in trends and product knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport quickly with diverse clients.
- Team player who works effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Availability for retail peak hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and the ability to meet the part-time weekly hours requirement (15–29 hrs/week).
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-focused environment is preferred; entry-level applicants with strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated interest in beauty will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or beauty certification is a plus but not required.
