Sephora Lansing hiring a Part-Time Beauty Advisor — deliver personalised consultations and drive sales. Hourly $18–$23/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised consultations and tailored product recommendations that meet each client’s needs and aesthetic preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Stay current with beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
  • Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding store KPIs and individual sales targets.
  • Support merchandising and inventory tasks to maintain an organised, visually compelling and fully stocked sales floor.
  • Maintain store standards for cleanliness, safety and presentation to ensure a welcoming client environment.
  • Promote an inclusive, team-oriented culture and contribute positively to store morale.

Qualifications

  • Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong passion for beauty are considered.
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence and ability to build repeat client relationships.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable consulting with diverse clientele.
  • Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and translate features into client benefits.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Experience
