Sephora Canada is hiring a Beauty Advisor (Flex) in Langley, BC — hourly CAD$18.85–23.55; client-focused retail role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations across makeup, skincare and fragrance to meet individual client needs.
  • Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, benefits and new launches.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, conversion metrics and other store KPIs through proactive client engagement.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organised and welcoming retail environment.
  • Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches and brand initiatives to inform client advice.
  • Contribute to an inclusive team culture and uphold Sephora Canada policies for a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience with a demonstrable ability to deliver excellent service and build client relationships.
  • Passion for beauty, cosmetics and trends with eagerness to learn and share product knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and goal-driven.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays; punctual and reliable.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary training or certification in cosmetology, esthetics or a beauty-related program is an asset.

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, with easy access to Vancouver.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.85 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
