Sephora Canada in Kitchener, ON is hiring a part-time Beauty Advisor. Join a leading beauty retailer to consult clients, drive sales and grow professionally.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Stay current with beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up.
  • Support inventory management, restocking and merchandising to maintain an organized, visually appealing selling environment.
  • Ensure store standards are met by maintaining cleanliness, safety and adherence to company policies.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team environment and assist colleagues during peak periods.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and build client relationships in retail, hospitality or a client-facing environment (entry-level acceptable).
  • Passion for beauty, current trends and product knowledge with a desire to learn and develop expertise.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable giving demonstrations and advice.
  • Reliable availability for retail peak periods including nights, weekends and holidays; meet required minimum weekly shifts for part-time (15–29 hrs/week).
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.

Experience

Entry-level role; previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer-service orientation, ability to learn product knowledge quickly and reliability in scheduling.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or certification in cosmetics, aesthetics or retail is an asset.

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
