Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized in‑store beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise, educate clients on application techniques, ingredients and regimen, and keep current on trends and launches.
- Actively drive sales and key performance indicators through client engagement, product demonstrations and follow‑up.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory processes, and ensure a clean, organized and welcoming sales environment.
- Foster an inclusive team culture by collaborating with colleagues and promoting Sephora’s values of belonging and respect.
- Adhere to company policies and loss‑prevention procedures to ensure a safe and compliant shopping experience.
- Work a flexible schedule with availability for peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous client‑facing experience in retail, hospitality, or a service environment preferred.
- Genuine passion for beauty, product trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented environment and quickly learn new product knowledge.
- Availability to meet the role’s required weekly shifts and reliably attend scheduled hours.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Experience
Entry‑level role; prior retail or client‑facing experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer service aptitude and the ability to learn product knowledge quickly.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
