Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations to meet each client’s individual needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients and routines to build loyalty.
- Stay current with beauty trends, launches and techniques to provide relevant, trend-forward advice.
- Achieve sales goals and key performance indicators by converting consultations into purchases and building client relationships.
- Support store presentation through merchandising, inventory tasks and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
- Uphold Sephora’s standards and policies to ensure a safe, inclusive and enjoyable shopping experience for clients and colleagues.
- Maintain reliable attendance and meet required minimum weekly shifts; be available for nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment with demonstrated ability to deliver excellent service.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; proven collaborator in team environments.
- Ability to learn quickly and retain product knowledge to share with clients.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to perform standard retail duties.

Entry-level role; prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
