Sephora is seeking a part-time Beauty Advisor for its Walt Whitman store in Huntington Station, New York. The role delivers personalized beauty consultations, product recommendations and expert advice while supporting sales goals, merchandising, inventory, store standards and an inclusive client experience. Part-time hours are 15–29 per week; peak availability, including nights, weekends and holidays, is required. Hourly pay is $21.75–$24.88.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
- Share product expertise to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey.
- Keep current with beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
- Exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment.
- Promote an inclusive culture in which everyone feels empowered and work collaboratively as a team.
- Follow company policies and help maintain a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours; be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays; maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

- Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and build strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
- Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
