Sephora in Houston seeks a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor for client consultations and sales. Pay $19.80–$22.90/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations to meet each client’s individual needs and beauty objectives.
- Demonstrate and communicate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate clients on application techniques and routines.
- Drive sales performance by achieving individual and store KPIs through consultative selling and conversion of client interactions.
- Maintain merchandising standards: support inventory activities, restock displays, and ensure a clean, organized and inviting sales floor.
- Stay current with beauty trends, new product launches and category knowledge to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
- Uphold company policies and safety standards while fostering an inclusive, team-oriented store environment.
Qualifications
- Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment preferred; demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Passion for beauty categories, trends and product innovation.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Reliability and flexibility to work retail peak periods including nights, weekends and holidays; meet minimum weekly shift requirements for part-time roles.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry-level role; previous client-facing retail, hospitality or service experience is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and deliver excellent customer service is valued.
