Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and one-to-one product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate clients on application techniques and regimen.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and store KPIs through proactive client engagement and conversion strategies.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory management and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
- Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and brand assortments to provide relevant advice and drive repeat visits.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture by collaborating with colleagues, supporting store initiatives and upholding company policies.
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays to meet peak retail demand and maintain reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience with a demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships.
- Passion for beauty, product-driven curiosity and a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable delivering in-person consultations.
- Proven ability to meet sales objectives in a fast-paced, target-driven retail environment.
- Availability to work a minimum of 15–29 hours per week (part-time) and to cover peak hours; punctual and reliable.
- Physically able to perform retail tasks including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level: prior experience in retail, hospitality or another client-focused environment is preferred; demonstrated aptitude for building rapport and achieving sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or certifications in cosmetology, esthetics or makeup artistry are a plus.

Compensation
