Sephora Honolulu seeks a Part-Time Beauty Advisor in Honolulu, HI — provide expert consultations and drive sales at the Waikiki store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized one-on-one consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and beauty goals.
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate clients on application techniques and product benefits.
- Stay informed on beauty trends, new launches and in‑store promotions to provide timely, relevant advice.
- Meet and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling and proactive client engagement.
- Support merchandising, inventory replenishment and visual presentation to maintain a clean, compelling retail environment.
- Uphold Sephora’s standards and policies to ensure a safe, welcoming and inclusive shopping experience for all clients.
- Maintain reliable availability for scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays and meet required minimum weekly hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment preferred; proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and product innovation.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.
- Team-oriented approach and ability to work collaboratively in a goal-driven environment.
- Quick learner with willingness to absorb and share product knowledge and training.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform typical retail duties.
- Availability to work peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays) and meet part-time weekly hour requirements (15–29 hrs/week).

Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail or hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate customer service aptitude and an eagerness to learn beauty techniques and products.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
