Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to clients.
- Demonstrate and explain product benefits, application techniques and ingredients to educate clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product assortments, trends and new launches to provide relevant advice.
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding individual KPIs and contributing to store targets.
- Support merchandising, inventory control and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized and visually on-brand.
- Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment and uphold Sephora Canada policies and service standards.
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays and maintain punctual, reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a client-service environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for beauty and trends.
- Ability to learn quickly and confidently share product knowledge with clients.
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule including peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail or client-facing experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer-service aptitude and the ability to learn product knowledge rapidly.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training or certification in beauty, cosmetics, or cosmetology is an asset.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
