Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations that address each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate and empower clients to achieve their beauty goals.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of beauty trends, launches and techniques to provide relevant and current advice.
- Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding individual and store KPIs through consultative selling and appropriate upselling.
- Support inventory control, merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor and displays remain clean, organized and visually compelling.
- Adhere to Sephora Canada policies and contribute to a safe, inclusive and welcoming shopping environment for clients and colleagues.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience delivering excellent client service in retail, hospitality or other client-facing environments.
- Demonstrated passion for beauty, trends and product innovation.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centred approach.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented, inclusive environment.
- Fast learner able to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work the required part-time hours (15–29 hrs/week) and during peak retail periods.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous client-facing retail or hospitality experience preferred (beginner level acceptable).
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

This position is based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, within easy reach of Edmonton.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
