Sephora (Glenarden, MD) seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized consultations. Hourly pay $19.80–$22.90.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
- Demonstrate and maintain up-to-date product knowledge across makeup, skincare, fragrance and beauty tools.
- Drive sales and achieve store KPIs through consultative selling and client engagement.
- Support merchandising, inventory activities and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to foster an inclusive store culture and uphold company policies and standards.
- Remain available for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays and meet required weekly shifts.
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates accepted; previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients build confidence through product selection.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; strong consultative selling aptitude.
- Ability to learn quickly and share product knowledge with clients and colleagues.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and maintain stamina for retail shifts.

Experience
Entry-level role; previous experience in retail, hospitality or a client-facing environment is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology or beauty-related certification is a plus.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
