Sephora — Beauty Advisor (Part‑time) in Silverburn, Glasgow. Provide expert makeup, skincare and fragrance advice and support store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised product consultations across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate customers on application techniques, routines and product benefits.
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge of Sephora’s assortment and new launches, including exclusive brands.
- Proactively engage customers to drive sales, promote services and enrolment in the loyalty programme through upselling and cross‑selling.
- Process transactions accurately, manage the cash/PO S area and ensure till reconciliation and transaction integrity.
- Receive, check and organise deliveries; support stock counts, inventory accuracy and timely replenishment of sales floor stock.
- Support visual merchandising and promotional displays to maintain inspiring, on‑brand presentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, participate in team training and contribute to store‑level meetings.
- Assist with special activities such as new store openings (unboxing, merchandising and stock preparation) when required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, customer service or store operations (cash handling and stock) preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for makeup, skincare and fragrance with practical product application knowledge.
- Warm interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and long‑term client relationships.
- Strong organisational aptitude, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physically able to perform the role’s demands (lift and carry stock, stand for extended periods).
- Target‑driven mindset and flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.

Experience
Entry‑level role; candidates with prior retail or customer service experience (cash and stock responsibilities) are preferred but enthusiastic beginners with strong beauty knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Education
