Sephora Canada in Gatineau is hiring a part-time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized consultations and drive sales at Les Promenades Gatineau.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance categories.
  • Educate and empower clients by sharing product knowledge, application techniques and regimen advice to build long-term client confidence and loyalty.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and proactive client engagement.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, manage stock levels and ensure the selling environment is organized, clean and inviting.
  • Remain current with brand assortments, industry launches, techniques and trends to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
  • Provide reliable availability for scheduled shifts and peak trading periods (evenings, weekends and statutory holidays) and adhere to required minimum weekly hours for part-time roles.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated aptitude for delivering excellent customer service and building rapport in a retail setting.
  • Passion for beauty and consumer trends with confidence in product recommendations and application techniques.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable educating and influencing customers.
  • Collaborative team player who contributes to a goal-oriented, inclusive workplace.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving items up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs).
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and peak periods as required.

Experience

Entry-level role; previous retail or beauty experience is an asset but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate customer-service aptitude and an ability to build client relationships.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
