Sephora Gainesville seeks a Part-Time Beauty Advisor in Gainesville, VA — provide personalized beauty consultations and drive sales. $21.75–$25.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets, KPIs and conversion goals through consultative selling and client follow-up.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, welcoming sales floor.
- Stay current with industry trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment and adhere to company policies to create a safe customer experience.
- Be available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships in retail, hospitality or other client-focused settings (preferred).
- Genuine passion for beauty, trends, and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable demonstrating and explaining product usage.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-driven retail environment.
- Quick learner able to absorb product knowledge and translate it into client-facing guidance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform typical retail duties for scheduled shifts.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level. Prior experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing role is preferred but not required; demonstrated customer-service aptitude and ability to build rapport are assets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
