Sephora Forest Hills, NY seeks a Part-Time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized consultations, drive sales and maintain the store. $21.75–$24.88/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations to meet each client’s needs.
  • Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients, and benefits.
  • Stay current on beauty trends, product launches and category innovations to provide relevant advice.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling.
  • Support merchandising, inventory activities and ensure the salesfloor is clean, organized and visually appealing.
  • Promote an inclusive, team-oriented store culture and assist in onboarding/mentoring peers when needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain a safe and secure client shopping experience.
  • Maintain flexible availability to cover peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred; demonstrable ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and empowering client confidence.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Quick learner with strong aptitude for product knowledge retention and sharing.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and sustain retail activity for full shifts.
  • Reliable punctuality and consistent attendance; ability to meet minimum weekly shift/hours requirements.
