Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and deliver warm, personalized in-store beauty consultations tailored to individual needs and preferences.
  • Provide expert product demonstrations and recommendations across makeup, skincare, fragrance and haircare.
  • Drive sales and attain individual and store KPIs through effective client engagement, cross-selling and follow-up.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory management and ensure the sales floor and test areas are clean and well organized.
  • Stay current with product launches, beauty techniques and marketplace trends to offer relevant advice.
  • Adhere to Sephora policies and retail loss-prevention protocols to create a safe, compliant shopping environment.
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays to meet peak retail demand and guaranteed shift minimums.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment demonstrating excellent customer service.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment with an aptitude for product learning.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Dependable availability to meet required weekly shifts (part-time: 15–29 hrs/week) including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.

Experience
